Cannellini Beans

Probably native of Peru, white beans were famously cultivated by Italian immigrants living in Argentina. They were later brought back to their homeland.

High in vegetable proteins, amino acids and starches and low in fat, they are rich in B vitamins, fibers, folate, iron and magnesium.

They have a soft texture and a light nutty flavor when cooked.
