Chickpeas

Chickpeas are the seeds of the Cicer arietinum plant, of the Fabaceae family. Rich in vitamins A, B, C, E, K, calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, potassium and zinc.
They are harvested in summer and then preserved so that they can be enjoyed all year round. The external part of the seed has a robust consistency, while inside they are more powdery and their flavor is delicate and nutty.
